Dusty’s bulk foods and refillery was a wonderful collaboration with clients who had the grit and determination to be the change they wanted to see in the community. Conceived and constructed during the pandemic and local lockdowns Dusty’s was a project that saw many challenges that the clients positive outlook overcome.

The project required careful consideration of spacial planning and product displays to enhance customer flow and serviceability for staff along with site specific requirements.

Neutral tones set as a backdrop for all the ever-changing bins of bulk goods, with the large bays custom designed to allow for ease of use by customers while keeping lines of sight open across the store. Display tables and shelving units were created with the purpose of showcasing a range of packaged products while incorporating storage ares for quick stock replenishing. The service counter was made fit for purpose while combining a mix of materials and textures to reflect the overall store aesthetic.
